Fun or not so fun fact. Did you know that in Massachusetts, you can punch someone in the face and be charged with a misdemeanor but if you steal their cell phone, you would be charged with a felony? There is a bill currently running through the legislature to change this. Larceny over $250.00 in Mass is currently considered a felony charge punishable by jail time.
